CEO’s Message

"Biotechnology," meaning the application of biological knowledge and techniques for the development of technology and products, entered our lives in the 21st century as one of the era's most important technologies.

Like many new technologies, biotechnology has remained under the monopoly of developed countries since its early days, forcing developing nations to import this technology and its products. In this context, we have been compelled to import billions of dollars' worth of medicines produced by biotechnological methods, used to treat critical diseases like cancer, rheumatism, and diabetes, in order to make them accessible to patients in our country. If domestic production is not achieved, we will remain dependent on foreign sources.

To solve this problem, which is one of our country's biggest challenges in addressing the trade deficit, we established the largest biotechnological pharmaceutical company in the Middle East. Our mission is to bring the raw material production technology of dozens of biotechnological medicines, which are already serving patients in many countries, to Turkey and to offer locally produced biotechnological drugs to the Turkish market.

In our R&D and production facility in Çerkezköy, our primary goal is to increase the biotechnological drug production capacity of the Turkish pharmaceutical industry and expand the market share of our locally produced products, both domestically and globally, without compromising on quality.

With 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and science, and over 10 years in managerial roles in biotechnology R&D and investment projects, I sincerely believe that, by combining Yerlika İlaç Türkiye's innovative and productive approach with my expertise, we can provide the contribution needed in the field of biotechnological production to the Turkish pharmaceutical market.
